Adding a signer allows you, the owner of the account to designate a person(s) to have signing authority only. A signer does not have ownership of the funds. Signers may only sign for the account until the owner's death or revocation of signatory rights. We will ask for the same information for the signer as we do for the applicant. Signers are also eligible for a debit card.
If you have been contributing to an HSA at another financial institution, we can automatically transfer it to your new HSA hassle free. Once we have officially opened your new HSA, we will conduct the transfer on your behalf.
